Rooted in the concept of the ancient wisdom of plants, the aim of The Spell of Spring is to inspire us to reconnect with the natural world.
Through our fabric, wallpaper and decor, we’ll delve into the folklore and power of the humble nettle URTICA; uncover the healing nature of the dandelion with TARAXA, wander the wildflower meadows of PRATARIA and celebrate the Celtic lore of BELTANE, rejoicing in the abundance, fertile energy and promise of Spring.
Our House is abloom with botanical prints and rejuvenating hues against the backdrop of Forest Stewardship Council certified wallpaper, recycled and organic cotton and our hemp collection.
Celebrate the reawakening world this season, for hope springs eternal with House of Hackney.

This Fall we unveil the first season of Anima Mundi, inspired by the magic that lives all around us. Welcome to the Awe of Autumn.
Hope Springs Eternal
Throughout the season, we will explore our relationship with Nature, taking guidance from the plant world, our ancient teachers.
We believe that plants, as our elders, offer timeless wisdom; to grow slowly and purposefully, adapt with resilience, nurture connections, and give back to the Earth. Recognising these lessons can guide us in living more harmonious, sustainable, and interconnected lives.
And so we dedicate the The Spell of Spring to the plants.
