Made up of 3 tiers, each with an exclusive additional discount, spend will be evaluated at a 12 month period and any movement between tiers will be automatically updated in your account, so you don’t even need to lift a finger!

What’s the Trade pricing and available discount?
Trade pricing is exclusive to account holders and offers a generous discount across our full range of wallpaper, fabric, paint, furniture and homeware. Once your application has been approved, you’ll be able to view your pricing online via the Trade Portal. Discounts vary by tier, with higher savings unlocked through our Trade Loyalty Program. Pricing is designed to support both residential designers and commercial procurement teams. If you’re working on a large-scale interiors project or require bulk volume discounting, your dedicated Trade representative will provide tailored support to make quoting and sourcing seamless.
Can I order free samples?
Yes - trade clients can order complimentary samples of wallpaper, fabric, and paint swatches and color cards directly through the Trade Portal. These samples are sent quickly via express shipping, so you can keep your project on track. While paint sample tins and tile swatches are not included free of charge, you’ll receive free access to physical materials that help inform color and print decisions. Whether you’re building a layered scheme or selecting the perfect statement wall print, samples are a crucial part of the process. We make it simple and cost-effective to test and compare options.
How long does it take to receive samples?
Samples are shipped via express courier and typically arrive within 3–5 working days. This applies to wallpaper, fabric and paint swatch card orders placed through your Trade Portal. If you're working to a tight deadline or need assistance with selection, your Trade Account Manager can help expedite the process. Whether you’re styling a showhome or preparing for a commercial presentation, we understand that timelines are tight. That’s why we make it easy to track, reorder, and manage sample deliveries from one place. International shipping is also available, with all taxes and duties included.
How do I apply for an interior design trade account?
Applying for a House of Hackney Trade Account is quick and easy. Simply complete the online application form on our website with a few details about your business, studio or design credentials. Whether you're an interior designer, architect or stylist, we welcome applicants working across residential, commercial or hospitality projects. As soon as it's approved, you’ll gain access to exclusive trade pricing, our online Trade Portal, loyalty rewards and complimentary samples. We work with everyone from boutique studios to international firms - if you’re sourcing designer wallpaper, trade paint or fabrics regularly, this account is made for you.
How long does it take to get approved as a Trade member?
Most applications are reviewed within 24 to 72 hours. During this time, our team checks your business credentials, portfolio or professional information to verify eligibility. You’ll receive an email once your account is live with immediate access to the Trade Portal, pricing, sample ordering and your loyalty tier. If any details are missing, this could delay approval, so do check everything’s complete before submitting. Whether you're a freelance interior designer, large design studio, hotel group or architect, we welcome trade clients globally and aim to get you up and running as soon as possible.
Can I buy collection books?
If you’d like a House of Hackney wallpaper sample collection book to support your design studio or client presentations, you can inquire one through your Trade contact. Collection books are a great way to show clients the quality, scale and richness of our prints in person. We offer these to professional designers and specifiers working on active projects. Please note that these are not complimentary and limited to availability.

Do I have to pay duties and customs fees for international orders?
No - we ship all international trade orders on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis. This means all taxes, duties and customs fees are included in the final price at checkout. Some exceptions may apply, please contact usatrade@houseofhackney.com for further assistance.
Is the fabric treated, or can you provide treatments?
Our core fabric collections arrive untreated, which offers flexibility for customization based on your project needs. For trade clients, we can apply additional treatments such as flame retardancy or stain resistance to meet hospitality or commercial specifications. Whether you’re upholstering bar seating, creating bespoke curtains, or fitting out a boutique hotel, we’ll work with you to meet safety and durability standards. Treatments will extend lead times slightly and incur a fee - just let your Trade Account Manager know what you need and we’ll manage the rest.
Can you help with specifying for commercial or hospitality projects?
Yes - House of Hackney has a strong history of working with design professionals on commercial interiors, including hotels, restaurants, private members' clubs and retail spaces. If you’re sourcing trade wallpaper, flame-retardant fabrics or bespoke Axminster carpet, we can help bring it all together. From bespoke scale prints to stain-resistant velvets, our materials and finishes are suited to high-traffic spaces. We also offer volume discounting, made-to-measure production and project support, ensuring you get the tools and timelines you need. Just let your Account Manager know your requirements - we’ll tailor the offer to suit.
Is furniture included in the Trade discount?
Trade clients get access to our full range of made-to-order furniture at exclusive industry pricing. Whether you’re specifying a velvet armchair for a private residence or a set of printed ottomans for a commercial lounge, our Trade Account includes complimentary samples, custom finish options and volume discounts. You can also customize dimensions and fabric choices to suit your scheme. We’ve supported commercial interiors at Soho House, The Ned and The Goring Hotel. Our furniture collections are crafted with the same exceptional quality and regenerative ethos. All orders are supported by our concierge-level service and your dedicated account contact.
Can I get a trade discount on House of Hackney paint?
Absolutely. All approved Trade Account holders receive discounted pricing across our entire paint collection, including both Emulsion and Eggshell finishes. Whether you’re looking to buy trade paint online for a private home or specifying rich wall colors for a commercial space, you’ll find your pricing automatically applied when logged into the Trade Portal. Every shade in our low VOC, low odor, quick drying paint range is crafted for depth, coverage and impact, with colous inspired by nature and heritage tones. Need help choosing a palette? Our Trade team can also support with color consultation or moodboarding. Paint sample cards are available free of charge.
Do you offer wholesale wallpaper or trade discounts for large projects?
Yes - we offer generous trade discounts and volume-based pricing for larger projects. Whether you’re ordering rolls of wallpaper for a boutique hotel or sourcing fabric for a multi-room renovation, our Trade team can provide tailored support. We regularly work with interior designers, architects and procurement specialists across residential and commercial interiors. You’ll also be automatically enrolled in our Trade Loyalty Program, where extra discounts are unlocked based on your annual spend.

Terms and Conditions
House of Hackney Trade Programme Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
The House of Hackney Trade Programme is available exclusively to registered interior design companies and trade partners. To participate in the Programme, companies must first be pre-approved by House of Hackney. To apply for approval, companies must provide valid business details, including proof of trade status, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. House of Hackney Ltd reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its discretion.
Programme Tiers
The House of Hackney Trade Programme offers three (3) distinct membership tiers, each with different benefits based on your annual spend:
- TRADE: For companies whose total annual spend is below £3,000 (excluding VAT). Members in this tier will receive a standard trade discount on eligible items.
- TRADE SILVER: For companies whose total annual spend is between £3,000 and £10,000 (excl. VAT). Members in this tier will receive the standard trade discount and an additional 10% discount on eligible items.
- TRADE GOLD: For companies whose total annual spend exceeds £10,000 (excl. VAT). Members in this tier will receive the standard trade discount and an additional 15% discount on eligible items.
Annual Spend Calculation and Tier Evaluation
- The annual spend is calculated based on purchases made within a 12-month period, starting from the date of the initial qualifying purchase.
- Your tier status is reviewed annually based on your total spend over the previous 365 day period.
- If your spend falls below the required threshold for your current tier during the 365 day period, your tier will be updated at the end of this period, counted from the date the tier status is granted.
- Tier Maintenance: Once you achieve a certain tier, you will maintain that tier for a 365 day period, regardless of fluctuations in your spend during that period. Your spend and any subsequent tier change, will update after each qualifying purchase is invoiced.
- Tier Downgrade: If, at the end of the 365 day period since tier status was granted, the account total spend has dropped below the threshold for the current tier, the account status will automatically be moved to the tier reflective of the spend within that period.
- Immediate Updates: Any movement between tiers will be automatically updated in your House of Hackney Trade account after each qualifying purchase is invoiced. You will see your new pricing reflected within 1 working day of the update.
- Tier Benefits
- TRADE: Standard trade discount applicable to all qualifying items.
- TRADE SILVER: Additional 10% discount on eligible items after reaching £3,000 (excl. VAT) in total spend within a 365 day period
- TRADE GOLD: Additional 15% discount on eligible items after reaching £10,000 (excl. VAT) in total spend within a 365 day period.
Updated pricing will be visible upon log in to your Trade account for purchases made on houseofhackney.com. All quotes given are valid for 30 days and will be based on the Trade Loyalty Tier at the time of pricing. Discounts are applied at the time of purchase and are only valid on eligible products as determined by House of Hackney. Discounts will not be applied retroactively on orders confirmed prior to tier qualification.
- Programme Validity
The House of Hackney Trade Programme is subject to availability and may be amended or discontinued at any time without notice. All changes will be communicated to members in writing (via email communication). By entering into the Trade Programme, members agree responsibility for updating their contact information, including email address and delivery address, in order to receive relevant communication in regards to their membership and applicable changes to their status or the terms of this programme. - General Terms
- The benefits of the Trade Programme are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, or used against Gift Vouchers.
- Only purchases made through House of Hackney Ltd are eligible for the Trade Programme benefits. Including purchases made on us.houseofhackney.com, via your Trade representative or at our showroom; St Michael’s Clergy House, Mark St. London, EC2A 4ER.
- House of Hackney reserves the right to disqualify any company from the programme for fraudulent activity, misuse of the Programme, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.
- Cancellation and Termination
House of Hackney reserves the right to terminate a member’s participation in the Trade Programme if they do not meet the eligibility criteria or if the company’s account becomes inactive for an extended period of time. - Liability
House of Hackney is not liable for any loss, damage, or expense resulting from participation in the Trade Programme, including but not limited to the use of any discounts or benefits provided. - Amendments
House of Hackney reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, and all amendments will be effective immediately upon being posted on House of Hackney's website or communicated to members. - Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
