Campaigns We Love
Campaigning is the heart of societal change, harnessing people power and storytelling for collective good. We support many campaigns, particularly those calling for policy and legislative change that demand urgent government action on the Climate, Nature and Inequality crises.
Here are some of our favourites:
Stop Ecocide International
Ecocide law is a route to justice for the worst harms inflicted upon the living world whenever and wherever they are committed.
At House of Hackney, we fully support Stop Ecocide International’s drive for the recognition of ecocide as a serious crime. We are a signatory of their Business and Finance open letter to the governments of the world to support the recognition of ecocide at the International Criminal Court.

Better Business Act
We are proud to be a part of the Better Business Act coalition striving for a cleaner, greener, fairer future for all. Together, we are calling for an amendment to Section 172 of the Companies Act, asking for every company in the UK to align their interests with those of wider society and the environment.

Zero Hour
Zero Hour is a campaign to get the Climate and Nature Act passed in UK Parliament. The Climate and Nature Bill is a plan for a new UK law that addresses the full extent of the Climate and Nature crises in line with the most up-to-date science. It is the only proposed legislation before the UK Parliament that ensures a comprehensive and joined-up approach to the emergency.
